In making Kanzashi hair ornaments, I have found online that they use something called -?

a hair pin, or a hair fork. these are very long and look like an upside down U. I have seen them only in silver and they're not hair clips, combs.

I'm interested in buying some to construct some Kanzashi for personal use and my I have had a hard time finding them. I have visited several sites and while they offer pics of the brilliant work they do, they don't offer where to purchase the materials. I have even read message boards on craftster.org, but alas to no avail. So world help me out!! Thanks and take care!!!!! OH!! one more thing! How do I attach the Kanzashi to the pin? I understand the petals are attached to a cardstock round, but how do you take the wire from the back and wrap it together? Once there what do you use as a cover for the wire wrapping??

Thank you world!!!!
