How would i make my long hair into a faux-hawk? what clips would i use?

like the one blonde chic in the pussycat dolls always has.

Here is a great way to do....It worked really well for me.

1. Separate your hair into a top half and a bottom half. Take the top half of your hair and separate out the middle section from temple to temple, clipping it or otherwise setting it aside.

2. Slick what remains of the top half of your hair (the left and right sides) back into a ponytail. Secure with an elastic.

2. Hold the middle section of your hair straight up by its ends and back-comb the roots for extra volume. Loosely pull that section back and secure it by the base of the ponytail with two bobby pins.

PS- If you dont have naturally straight hair, it helps to straighten before you do it, but its not necessary. I just like it that way.

Bobby pins! Grab a section of your hair in the front in one hand and tist it a little. Then push it forward and pin in place according to how high you want it. Presto cute faux hawk!
