First day you should look cute and casual. Ponytails do that....but so do half done ponytails(put hair in ponytail...take another small ponytail holder and start putting hair in ponytail again but on the last loop don't pull the hair all the way through...it'll look kinda messy but that's 'cool'...also the ends can stray on top of the ponytail or under it...your call there). Also leaving a few stray hairs on the side of your face is nice too.

ya definitely do a ponytail (a little high) and with a few pieces hanging out in the front.
