I know that hair spray is bad for your hair, but I am trying to grow my bangs out, and I hate head bands and hair clips, so I put some hair spray on my bangs after I've brushed them out of the way. I just wanted to know if this will affect the hair growth. Thanks!

I am not really sure, but I would say no because hair grows from the roots; no matter what you do, your hair will still continue to grow each day.
